Pre-Cutting Blow HolesWe'll do the dirty work for you!Directron.com now offers a special service to cut and mount blowholes on the side of your case by our professional technicians. You can add this service at the time when you order your new case or send us a panel of your existing case for us to cut it for you. Benefits to You: (1) You don't have to purchase expensive tools to cut the hole yourself. (2) You don't have to mess with the hole-cutting process. (3) The case will arrive with a pre-cut hole and even a pre-mounted case fan (the latter is optional). (4) We provide warranty to the modified case, while any mod by yourself may void the warranty. Why Blow Holes?: If mounted appropriately, a blow hole will significantly help cooling the entire case. Unfortunately, very few cases come with blow holes pre-made by the manufacturers. Directron.com steps in to fill the gap. Specs: We'll cut the hole only on the left-side (if the front of the case is facing you). We'll use our best judgment on the position of the window, depending on the case you ordered and the panel you send us. Currently we offer only three hole positions: Center on side panel, near left-bottom on side, and center on an acrylic window. Besides the main hole, we'll also cut four small holes for mounting the case fans. Notes: (1) The case fan, finger guard (grill), and filter of appropriate size must be ordered separately. (2) Mounting the case fan is a separate service and must be ordered as an option. If not ordered, the case fan will be shipped separately without mounting. (3) Once cut, the hole-cutting service is not refundable. (4) This service is available only for single-sheet, metal panels. It's not available to plastic panels such as FK-603. (5) The turn-around time for the service is one business day. In other words, this service may delay shipping your order by one business day. If you send us your own panel, the turn-around-time is 2-3 business days from receiving your panel. (6) If you send us your own panel, you're responsible for shipping it back to you via a method of your choice. Directron.com is not responsible for any damage to your panel during transit, coming to us or going back to you. (7) We use a proven technology to safeguard the paint of the panel for a very professional result. The sharp edges will be manually filed away before shipping. (9) You must agree that you want Directron.com to choose the position for the hole. Directron will make the best judgment about the position of the hole. Typically we'll position it as close to CPU/fan as possible. The actual position may vary from one case to the other. You're welcome to leave a note on your order if you have any specific concerns regarding the positioning. (9) In case of a compatibility problem, we'll contact you by phone or e-mail to work out a solution before cutting the hole. (10) Please allow enough space between the internal components of your system such as expansion cards and the case fan. (11) We now offer cutting a blowhole on an acrylic window for $23.99.
